PageRank and TrustRank are two compleatly different things, but yet the ate so important.
Pagerank is a way of telling you how well your site is ranked according to other sites on the web, used bu Googles search engine.
It's used to indicate the individual value of each website on google.
If websites that have a high pagerank links to you, then you will get a share of that and increase in pagerank.

The higher pagerank you got (1-10) the more often google bots will crawl and update your site.
To get pagerank you will need to have many other websites (preferrably within the same subject as yours) to link to you. Also called backlinks etc as we spoke about earlier.
TrustRank is a newer way of getting good rankings in Google.
Although there is no specific info about it, we can say that it's to prevent sites that spam a lot or are only up to make money.
A good way of getting higher trustrank is by submitting info about yourself.
Your email adress, country, name etc.
Another is to have content on your site that are not set up to lure people to buy your "extreamly good product" etc.
It also valuates your website after how long it has ben up and running and for how long your internal links has been active.
